Mosa McNeilly brings a passion for social justice, self discovery and wellness to her work. She combines her expertise in interdisciplinary approaches with her interest in themes of Black Canadian, African and Caribbean art forms, mythologies and plant medicine. Mosa’s arts education practice includes mural making, drawing and painting, encaustic, printmaking, collage, assemblage, sculpture and installation integrated with clowning, voice, movement, drumming, storytelling and spoken word. Mosa recently completed her graduate degree in Environmental Studies at York University with a focus on socially-engaged art, performance and spiritual practices of the Black diaspora.
