Karen Harkins is a visual artist, sculptor and currently a Cultural Outreach Officer with the City of Toronto. Karen has a keen sensibility to people and relationships, and in depth knowledge of African art and the European Masters, exploring major themes in the paintings of Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet and others where children work with colourful acrylics and brushes to create their own masterpieces. Karen also teaches innovative sculpture to recreate early Canadian watercraft.
