As language evolves we are more and more calling on graphic visual representation to convey information, data or knowledge. In the 21st century we are overwhelmed with things we need to know and how bits of information connect to another. Infographics help us improve cognition by utilizing pictures and graphics to enhance our human visual system’s ability to see patterns, trends and statistics. Infographics are designed for mass communication and require fewer assumptions about the reader’s knowledge base. Pria Muzumdar + Mark Kurupt Stoddart bring their own unique style of information design to the classroom and support the creation of one or many infographic systems that tell a complex story in simple, creative and interconnected pictures.
